Free AI presentation maker

Describe your presentation, let ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini write it, and paste the answer back. Presenter Cue turns it into designed, editable slides with speaker notes.

0:00 / 0:28 4 steps

Step by step: make a presentation with your AI

  1. Describe it. In the studio, choose New. Write the topic, who is listening, how many slides and the tone. Presenter Cue writes a detailed prompt from your answers.
  2. Ask your assistant. Tap ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. It opens in a new tab with the prompt ready; send it and wait for the answer. No credits, just the assistant you already use.
  3. Paste the answer. Back in the studio, paste the reply. Presenter Cue reads it, even with small mistakes, and draws every slide at once, with speaker notes.
  4. Edit and present. Change any word, add your own pictures, pick a theme, then press Present. Arrow keys, a clicker or a tap move the slides; with Pro, so does your phone.

How it works

  1. Describe it. Topic, audience, number of slides, tone and theme. Presenter Cue writes a detailed prompt from your answers.
  2. Ask your assistant. Tap ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. It opens in a new tab with the prompt ready, and the prompt is copied too.
  3. Paste the answer. Copy the whole reply and paste it into the studio. The slides appear at once, already laid out.
  4. Edit and present. Change any text, add your own pictures, pick a theme, then present full screen.

Why use your own assistant

Most AI slide tools run their own model and charge credits for every deck and every retry. Presenter Cue doesn’t generate text itself: it uses the assistant you already have, free or paid. You keep the conversation, so you can ask for changes (“make slide 4 shorter”, “add a slide on pricing”) and paste the new answer.

It also means nothing about your presentation is sent to Presenter Cue. The prompt goes to the assistant you pick; the slides are drawn and saved in your browser.

What you get

  • 15 layouts: title, section, agenda, bullets, two columns, image left and right, full image, quote, big numbers, chart, timeline, process, comparison and closing.
  • Text that fits. Every layout sizes its text to the space, so a long title shrinks instead of running off the slide.
  • 8 themes, switched for the whole deck in one tap.
  • Speaker notes for every slide, written by your assistant.
  • Charts drawn from plain numbers you can correct.
  • Present mode in your browser, with keyboard and clicker support.

Free, with no watermark and no slide limit. Presenter Cue Pro ($10 for 7 days or $99 a year, no auto-renewal) adds your phone as the remote, presenter view with notes and a timer, and PNG and PDF downloads.

A worked example

Topic: “Why our team should adopt a four-day sprint review”

In the studio, the topic goes in the first box, Kind is Business presentation, Audience is “engineering managers”, Slides is 8 and Tone is Persuasive. Tap ChatGPT; it opens with the prompt filled in. The answer comes back as one JSON block with a title slide, a Big numbers slide for the current review overhead, a Comparison of the two schedules, a Timeline for the trial and a Closing slide with the ask. Paste it, and eight slides with speaker notes appear. Total time: about three minutes, most of it ChatGPT writing.

What the AI does, and what you do

The assistant is good at structure and first drafts: choosing an order, splitting ideas across slides, writing short titles and drafting notes you can say aloud. It is not a source of facts. Treat every number, date and name as something to check, and replace anything it could not know, such as your own results, prices or customers. The prompt asks it to write [placeholders] when a fact is missing, so the gaps are easy to spot.

You bring the things that make a presentation yours: real figures, a story from your own work, a photo you took, and the decision you want the audience to make. Spend the time the draft saves on those.

Picking layouts and themes

There are fifteen layouts, from Title and Bullets to Chart, Timeline, Process, Comparison and Big numbers, and eight themes: Wine, Paper, Ocean, Forest, Sunset, Mono, Midnight and Cue dark. The assistant chooses a layout for each slide, and you can change any of them in the side panel; the text moves into the new layout. A quick rule for themes: dark themes (Midnight, Cue dark) look best on large screens in dim rooms, light themes (Paper, Mono) on projectors in bright rooms and in printed handouts.

When the answer isn’t perfect

  • Too many slides: delete the weakest ones; the deck renumbers itself.
  • Too much text: ask the assistant to “shorten every bullet to under eight words and send the whole JSON back”, then paste again.
  • Wrong layout: change it in the side panel rather than asking again.
  • The answer was cut off: paste it anyway. Presenter Cue keeps every slide that came through complete and tells you how many it found.

From draft to presenting

Once the slides are right, add your pictures, read the speaker notes aloud once, and press Present. The deck is saved in your browser as you work. Download a JSON backup to move it to another computer, an SVG of any slide, or (with Pro) a PDF or PNG images for sharing.

Questions

Is the AI presentation maker free?

Yes. Making, editing and presenting slides is free, with no account and no watermark. You use your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, including their free versions.

Do I need a ChatGPT subscription?

No. The free versions of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini all work. A paid plan can write longer decks in one go.

Can I edit the slides after the AI makes them?

Yes. Every word, layout, chart value and picture can be changed in the studio, and you can add, move or delete slides.

Where are my presentations saved?

In your browser on this device. Download a backup (.json) to move a deck to another device.

Can I make slides from my own photos, without AI?

Yes. Choose New, then Pictures, and pick or drop your photos. Give each a label, put them in order, and every picture becomes a full-screen slide with its label, as the whole picture or filling the slide.

Do I need to pay for an AI to use Presenter Cue?

No. Free versions of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot all work. Paid plans can follow the prompt more consistently and write longer speaker notes, but they aren’t required.

How many slides can it make?

The studio asks for between 3 and 30 slides. Most talks work best with 8 to 15; past about 20, assistants are more likely to cut the answer short, and audiences are more likely to lose track.

Can I make a presentation in another language?

Yes. Type the language in the Language field and the assistant writes the slides and notes in it. Have a fluent speaker check the result before you present.

Will my slides look the same as everyone else’s?

You choose from eight themes and fifteen layouts, add your own pictures and change any slide. The structure is consistent, which helps audiences; the content and pictures make it yours.
